Chabad of Northridge Community-wide Mishloach Manot Project Mishloach Manot—Sending food gifts to friends and family—is one of the four Mitzvot performed on Purim. It is a heartfelt way to emphasize the Jewish unity that lies at the core of the Purim holiday... and to create meaningful connections within our own community at the same time. Through this project, you can participate in the sending of a beautiful gift basket to your friends and family that will be delivered to them on the Purim holiday, Sunday, March 4th, 2007. This a Mitzvah, it's great fun, and with Chabad of Northridge it's easier than ever! Here’s how it works: For just $5.00 per recipient, you can participate in the sending of a beautiful gift basket to anyone on our membership list. Every family on the list will receive one gift package, along with an attaractive Purim card that lists all the people who participated in their package. For example, if you are sent a Mishloach Manot package from more than one individual, you will receive one basket; all those people sending you the Mishloach Manot will be listed on the card. By making a generous donation of $250 you may choose as many names as you wish. As there are more than 300 names on our list – this is a tremendous discount!! What you need to do: Everyone in our community is receiving a personalized code, similar to a password, for accessing the website. Check your email or mailer, or contact Malki at 248- 872-3224 or email [email protected] for your code. 1. When you are finished making your selections, click the “Order” button to pay for your order.
