We’re excited to launch a brand-new program under CTeen Northridge called JMentors—a unique and meaningful opportunity that connects Jewish teens and children in a powerful mentoring experience. Each week, Jewish teens will volunteer as mentors, helping younger students (ages 6–11) with homework, offering guidance, and leading fun and engaging Jewish learning or activities. Weekly sessions will take place in a group setting within the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere of the CTeen Lounge, guided by Rabbi Mendel Rapoport. Each teen will be matched with a child based on shared strengths and interests, creating a warm, supportive environment where real connections can grow. For the younger participants, JMentors offers inspiring role models, boosts confidence, and helps them succeed both academically and socially, while building pride in their Jewish identity. For the teen mentors, it’s a chance to give back, grow as leaders, strengthen their Jewish values, and enhance their resumes and college applications. With limited spots available for both mentors and mentees, JMentors is a truly special weekly experience for families looking to invest in growth, connection, and community.
