Our Chabad of Northridge community is dedicated to supporting Israel during these challenging times. We are raising funds to provide crucial assistance to those affected by the ongoing crisis. Our assistance is divided between several important causes. You are invited to be part of this sacred work.
DIRECT ASSISTANCE TO SOLDIERS
We have sponsored two soldiers, Netanel and Yuval, who bravely returned from the US to serve in the IDF. We provided them with airfare, a stipend, and other important supplies for them and their friends. We are in touch with them and are providing direct further assistance to other individual soldiers on the ground.
THE BORDER TOWNS
We stand in solidarity with the impacted communities, offering our unwavering support to help them rebuild and restore their livelihoods. Through our collaboration with Chabad in Sderot and Ashkelon, we ensure that essential aid reaches those in need swiftly and effectively.
SUPPORTING SOLDIERS AND COMMUNITIES - JERUSALEM
We are providing direct assistance to soldiers and evacuated communities who are currently in the center of the country, through our relationship with Rabbi Lirazz Zeirah of Chabad on Campus, Jerusalem. Rabbi Zeirah has many students who are currently stationed at army bases. They have also enlisted the help of many international students who are volunteering to provide events and support for the soldiers as well as the evacuees of communities from the north and south of the country.
SUPPORTING SOLDIERS AND COMMUNITIES - KARMIEL IN THE NORTH
We are providing direct assistance to soldiers and evacuated communities who are currently in the north of the country, through our relationship with Chabad of Karmiel, the largest city in the Galilee region. Thousands of soldiers are stationed in the city, sleeping in schools gyms, and community centers. They provide them with home-cooked meals and extra supplies so they can feel the love of Jews around the world. They are also helping to support families of reservists whose fathers and husbands have been enlisted to defend the country. Finally, they are assisting the families of those evacuated from the northern border with Lebanon.
